Sunday Morning Musings!

July 4th was yesterday! For most people, I assume it was a day of relaxing planning what to put on the grill. For me it was something more. I had to think about a young men who is a Veteran of the Iraqi war. He served two tours, got blown up three times and is now suffering from those injuries. He received a Purple Heart and some other medals. You can not see the wounds or scars. He looks like everyone else, but his brain and mind suffered terribly. Every day decisions are difficult. Sometimes they are very questionable How can one help him deal with that? I don't have the answers! We all know war is destructive, but the loss of freedom is the greatest loss we can experience.
